Warum muss ich nach dem Start /etc/init.d/networking restart ausführen, damit das Netzwerk funktioniert?

Ich habe gerade die Grub-Installation repariert und festgestellt, dass meine kabelgebundene Netzwerkverbindung nicht funktioniert hat. Ich habe es schließlich zum Laufen gebracht, aber jedes Mal, wenn ich neu starte, muss ich den Netzwerkdienst manuell neu starten, um das Netzwerk aufzurufen. Wie kann das Netzwerk automatisch gestartet werden?

Hier ist die relevante Info.

Laufen ifup gab:

$Sudo ifup eth0
Unknown interface eth0=eth0

dhclient hat auch nicht funktioniert. Ich habe mir schließlich /etc/network/interfaces, und eth0 fehlte:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

was ich geändert habe:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
#auto lo
#iface lo inet loopback

Der von ifup erzeugte Fehler ist behoben, aber dhclient hat mir immer noch keine IP-Adresse gegeben, aber das Neustarten der Netzwerkschnittstelle hat Folgendes bewirkt:

Ubuntu verwendet heutzutage standardmäßig NetworkManager, um Ihr Netzwerk zu verwalten.

sagt Ihnen wahrscheinlich, dass NetworkManager dhclient bereits für Sie gestartet hat.

Sie können dies überprüfen, indem Sie ausführen

ps -o ppid= -p 1421

dann

ps -o cmd -p <the number printed by the above command>.

oder machen Sie es in einem Schritt mit

ps -o cmd -p `ps -o ppid= -p 1421`

ändern von 1421 auf eine beliebige PID, die in der Meldung "Es ist bereits eine PID-Datei vorhanden ..." angegeben ist.

Um NetworkManager zu konfigurieren, klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Netzwerksymbol in der Ecke des Bildschirms oder führen Sie nm-tool von der Kommandozeile.

Google "NetworkManager" für weitere Informationen.

Und "lo" aus/etc/network/interfaces zu entfernen, klingt für mich auf jeden Fall nach einer schlechten Idee.
